Ebenezer Akomolafe before his retirement, was the Director, Monitoring And Evaluation. He was born on the 8th of June 1959 at Ikole Ekiti, Ekiti State; hails from Itapa-Ekiti Primary School, Ikole. He schooled in St. Saviour’s African Primary School, Ikole from 1965 to 1970 and Ansar-Ud-Deen High School, Ikole-Ekiti from 1975 to 1980 from where he proceeded to Ondo State College of Arts and Science, Ikare Akoro from 1980 to 1982.
He went on to further his education in the University of Lagos Akoka Yaba, Lagos from 1982-1990 where he obtained a B.SC in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management and LL.B respectively.
He went on to the Lagos Campus of the Nigerian Law School from where he obtained B.L. He also attended the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies between 1997 and 2008. He also have a Certificate in Legislative Drafting for Drafters of National and State Houses of Assembly in October, 1997 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legislative drafting in March, 2000.
Mr Akomolafe has functioned in different capacities since the beginning of his career, the positions includes: Senior Legal Officer, Ministry of Justice Akure & Ado-Ekiti from 1994 to 1998; Director of Legal Drafting and Corporate Law, Ministry of Justice, Ado-Ekiti from 1998 to 2000; Administrator General and Public Trustee, Ministry of Justice Ado-Ekiti from 2000 to 2002; Director of Legal Drafting & Corporate Law, Ministry of Justice, Ado-Ekiti from 2002 to 2010; Director for Citizens’ Rights, Administrator General and Public Trustee, Ministry of Justice Ado-Ekiti 2011 to 2012; Directorate for Citizens’ Rights, Ministry of Justice May 2012 to Date.
Ad-Hoc Posts held by him includes: Chairman, Committee on Review of the Observations Raised by the National Pension Commission on the Ekiti State Contributory Pension Bill, 2006 from October, 2006-January, 2010 and Member of the Senior Management Committee, Ekiti State Civil Service from April 2011 – March 2012.
