Attorney-General Restates Commitment Of The State Government To Sustainable Reforms

The Attorney-General and Honourable Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Olawale Fapohunda has restated the commitment of the Fayemi Administration to achieving sustainable reforms in the Justice sector. Speaking today at the Bar/Bench forum organized by the Nigerian Bar Association {NBA}as part of its 2014 Law Week activities, the Attorney-General affirmed that the intervention in the Justice sector is not simply based on a desire to be unnecessarily radical, but that the very survival of Ekiti State depends on the ability to do things progressively differently from other States.

He said that the Ministry of Justice as the lead Justice Sector institution in the State has sought to reform the Justice sector through three main interventions- Legislative Reform, Policy Change and Institutional Reform.
