EKSG Sets Up Panel Of Inquiry

The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Ekiti State, Mr. Olawale Fapohunda has inaugurated a panel of inquiry to look into the death of a boy, Oluwaseun Awoyemi, who was allegedly shot by some officers of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad Police Command in Ado and a woman, Fatima Awoyemi, a sister-in law to the deceased who had a stillbirth due to the push she was given by the police officers.

The Panel which was given a week to complete its inquiry has as its chairman Mr. Ilesanmi Ojo, a retired Magistrate, Dr. Mrs. Foluke Dada as the secretary while Mrs.Akin-Rotimi Augustina, Mrs. Titilayo Adebayo and Mr. Lucas Koyejo as members.

Responding, the panel chairman, Mr. Ilesanmi Ojo thanked Ekiti State Government for the opportunity to serve while calling on all stakeholders to come up with useful information to make the work of the panel faster.
