The State Exco has approved the Coroners Bill 2014, and the advisory Council of Prerogative of Mercy Bill. The Council approves that these Bills be sent to the State House of Assembly for consultation and possible passage. The State Exco also approved the Ekiti state Service Charter for victims of crime.
The Attorney General has announced a computer literacy programme for all staff of the MOJ. The Attorney General said that the goal of the programme is to ensure that all the staff of the MOJ Lawyers / non Lawyers alike are computer literate by the end of 2014.
